Instruments

Four questions your board will ask. Four ten-minute answers.

Each of these runs in your browser, takes ten minutes or less, and produces something you can put in front of someone. None requires an account to answer. None is a lead-capture form wearing a costume.

They are built on the same operating framework used in AltNexus engagements, so what an instrument tells you is what an engagement would tell you, at lower resolution.

[10 MINUTES · SELF-ASSESSMENT]

Where is AI value stalling in our organisation?

AI Velocity Gap Diagnostic. Eleven questions scored on the BCG 10-20-70 principle: ten percent use case and algorithms, twenty percent data and technology, seventy percent people, process and governance. Returns a score out of 100, a domain breakdown, and a written executive summary you can print or share.

[5 MINUTES · SELF-ASSESSMENT]

How ready are we to govern AI, not just deploy it?

SCALE Governance Readiness Scorer. Five questions across the five SCALE dimensions: Strategy, Capability, Architecture, Leadership and Ethics, weighted so that Leadership carries the most. This is the question an audit committee asks after the pilot succeeds and before the rollout starts.

[6 MINUTES · LIVE SIMULATION]

What does an AI harness actually do?

The Improv Stage. Three failure scenes run twice, once with the governance layer off and once with it on. Same agents, same task, two very different endings. Every allow, block, escalate and halt decision shows the policy that drove it. This is live logic in your browser, not a recorded demonstration.

[10 MINUTES · PLAN GENERATOR]

What should our AI capability plan actually be?

Considered Fluency. Builds a personal AI fluency plan against the four competencies of delegation, description, discernment and diligence: 35 sessions across six sprints, with a measures table and a gate date. One HTML file that lives on your machine. No account, no subscription, and the page makes no network requests at all.

Where these lead

An instrument is a triage, not an engagement.

Each one ends with a score and a summary you own and can take away. If what it surfaces warrants a conversation, that conversation is 30 minutes, structured, and free. If it does not, you keep the summary and owe nothing.

Where an instrument models a figure rather than measuring one, it says so on screen and shows the assumption. Nothing here is an audit, and nothing here is professional advice.
